sure you can use base valves, stock springs, locks, retainers and reuse stock springs but usually no one redoing a motor is just stock rebuilding it, they are trying to step it up and want better stuff than 40 year old used parts




Jeff you left out a cost for decking the heads and does the $125 to install the seats include the seats ?

I spent a little more than what Jeff quoted above redoing my F casting 906's, one needed at least one intake seat aside from having hard seats in the exhaust and they were decked from the 90cc down to 80cc.




I would guess the 730 labor would cover installing seats and guides and cutting spring sets as the assembly is mentioned seperately as 80 so where else would the 730 go?
