Geez, I'd be curious what the $$$ involved in all of this was too. Except for the Bowl port and Intake opening up, I just had everything listed done on two sets of big block heads for stockish type builds (I know, they are not for a race car). The price was no where near what a new set of edelbrocks would cost-- Spent $600/pr out the door ready to bolt on through my machinest. So is it the porting work that is driving the price up? Just curious, not trying to bust anyones stones here.
But just sitting here thinking about it--again, other than the port work, I think the only thing that would have increased the dollars involved in the heads I just got would be a better set of valves. So maybe another $200 to get away from the stock type valves that got put in---but lets say even at $800 a set, How much extra is the mild porting?
Outcast Dodge guy.
