Bias ply's are way better for traction on any surface that is not prepped well for drag racing up scope
Been their, done that whiney wrench
My old 3450 lbs. with me in it and a full tank of gas, pump gas Duster went 9.993 at 134.7 MPH once at Woodburn Drag Strip in July several years back, the track told me to not race it anymore as it was NHRA legal to 10:00 at or below 135.00 MPH. I staged it a little deeper and shifter it a little later to run several 10:00 that day in completion on the brakes devil boogie
That car exceeded all my expectations every time I changed something on it to run faster or quicker boogie up devil
