Both can make power, I just prefer a big cam big block. I have to have that nasty idle. Without that, it just doesn't appeal to me. That's one of the main reasons I don't care for the newer hellcat stuff...they sound like station wagons.
Same. The appeal to the old stuff to me is how obnoxious they are- the nasty idle, the loose converter, the noise, and the lack of refinement. I've heard some LS's that have decent chop to them but I haven't heard a Hellcat or Coyote that sounds decent at idle.
