Do something different. Do the Torque Storm on a small block. I don't know your budget or your power goals but a 318 340 or 360 with a centrifugal supercharger would be perfect for the street. Keep the boost in the range that will let your engine live forever and enjoy power in all RPM ranges.


From a build perspective, small block would be easier from sourcing parts, but would end up costing the same as the big block. Header clearance on a big block with power steering, booster assembly and weight, te small block could be a better choice. I do have a ton of 318's na da couple of 5.9 Magnums coming in.
