The problem from a blown big block makes 'too much' power on the street. With a motor estimated to make just under 500hp, and then throwing a blower on it will make 650-700 possible hp, seems excessive for a street car. The benefit of the small block supercharger is that my car is already set up for small block and have everything to mount it. To be honest, the cammed big block sounds like a better idea, but worry about the new sound laws California is enforcing.




I think you can go up to about 800 on the street before it becomes unusable.
