I wasn't alive in the 70s but I'd imagine that would be considered plenty fast for that era street car, no,?

I would guess the son wasn't a die-hard hobbyist and the novelty wore off quickly. These cars don't exactly meet modern day driving expectations.


A mid-high 12's car could clean up back then. In the early mid 80's it took a legit 10, low 11's second car to do really well.,

Yeah a pretty stock well tuned hemi challenger back then, on a good day, with great hook is going to be a low 13's car.
