I bought my 2004 Dodge 2500 diesel in the fall of 2003. I had to buy new batteries in December of 2018!
I almost got my moneys worth out of those original batteries....lol.
On the other hand, I bought my 2014 Ram 1500 v6 in July 2017, with just under 24000 miles. It already had a new Delco in it.
Fast forward to December 2021, weak battery, short cranking ability and worry about getting stranded, I replaced again, with just under 44k on the dial.
Probably a result of my short commute, 5-6 miles each way, no long trips ...
