Years ago, for my 49 Plymouth convert I bought a new 6 volt original style battery from Newcastle. The first one lasted less than a year, and they exchanged it under warranty. The next one failed fairly promptly as well and again they warranted it. The third one was still going strong after 12 years. When I took it out of the car to get another car that was lacking a battery started, it slipped out of my hands and cracked open on the floor. Who knows how long that battery may have lasted? It's too bad I wrecked it. It's puzzling how it's siblings died so young, but it was able to attain geezer status. confused

I don't regret the things I've done. I only regret the things I didn't do.
