I learned about the 30 spline Dana 60 when a friend bought a junkyard Dana 60 pickup(1970 GMC) I think, and had it narrowed to go under his 1968/69 Plymouth Road runner, we used his 8 3/4 axle in it along with the brakes with no issues. back then he and I didn't know that wouldn't work
