I started racing using the Direct Connection recipe's from stock down into the 10 second bracket. They were very accurate for my 440 powered Cuda. 9 seconds, not so much. The only thing you are missing is that (in my book, anyway) the 318 10 second build needs the car to weigh in at 2850. You have the right tranny, right gears, right SIZE carb, and if you can get the heads flowed properly. I don't know comparisons of W2 heads to Eddies. So your powertrain looks on track, but car needs a diet.
