I've been racing stock 340 blocks and a R-block
for a long time... all of them turned 8200 except
the stock viper rod engine.. that one let go at
8200 rpm after about a year racing every weekend..
its all about flow and the balance of the engine..
my 395ci is still running strong and it turned 8200
every pass... my other stuff has gone higher
