Agreed, any white letter tire and whitewall would brown after a while, belted or radial from any decade of mfg...generally I use Tri-Chlorethelene to whiten the whitewalls/letters to a bleached white condition, if you use it, you only apply to the white portion of the wall/letter as it dissolves the black rubber
