I know people get hung up that it isn't a true reflection of drag racing, but its about being entertaining. Something unfortunatly drag racing is not. There is a reason ESPN will bump NHRA coverage for ladies tennis or little league baseball. I love participating in drag racing, but frankly I think just about anything else is more entertaining to watch on TV. Lets follow around a real drag racer for a day and film them spending the day sitting in the staging lanes waiting for the track to get cleaned from an oil down. Dont think it will pull big ratings.
