The plastic divider between the male terminals is pointless because both terminals are either grounded or not at the same time.

They are in common when grounded but they need to be isolated when the door is shut. Otherwise, the time delay lights illuminating the headlamp and ignition switches will come on every time the passenger door opens or the interior lamp switch on the panel dimmer comes on. Not a fatal error but just a fine detail. Craig
