Logically, if that was the way it was suppose to work, Chrysler would have run a wire directly to ground instead of to the dome light switch. Better yet they would have used a switch that picked up it's ground through the switch housing and eliminated the extra wire and saved money.

Logically, they should have called it a Floor light rather than a Map light because all it was good for was lighting up the floor and the passengers feet.

So much for logic.
