I have been on this site and others for 7 years. Since my car was raced most of it's life I can tell you IF the cage was still in it like yours, I personally would LEAVE it in. Looks quite coool and very clean in the condition it is in the photo's.
For me it has Day 2 resto written all over it. But my car was put back to a street car and cage was cut out long before I got it so I have decided not to put a new cage back.

Its all a matter of personal choice, but I think you will find that there are plently of factory style resto's out there, and frankly, as raced has more appeal to me and others borred with the abundance of "correct cars". To each his own,
