We had to do this on a hemi road runner. The crank was not drilled deep enough. The clutch was growling when in gear. We thought it was a junk throwout bearing so we replaced it with a different brand and had the same growl. After measuring we found the new crank was not drilled deep enough so it had to much pressure on the input shaft bearing. Brad
