The rear vacuum port fitting was installed after paint, the hole was roughly masked off with a piece of masking tape, the manifold would be void of paint accross the hole entending past the hole some distance where the tape covered it while being painted. I would guess the the temo sender was a similar case.
I think the back of the intake was done like this.
