I dont think a stock hemi challenger owned by a cop was much of a street race threat during that era in the motor city, but whatever. Not surprised its for sale after all the phony hype
The hype is ridiculous! That car was a high 13 second piece on a good day.
I wasn't alive in the 70s but I'd imagine that would be considered plenty fast for that era street car, no,?
I would guess the son wasn't a die-hard hobbyist and the novelty wore off quickly. These cars don't exactly meet modern day driving expectations.
