Just passing on stuff that I have learned or figured out. You can shim the hanger back but to go more than 3/8s, I usually just tig up the hole in the new perches you have to weld on anyhow and mill/drill the new hole just 3/8s forward so it moves the rear back slightly. Also I have recently found that the Calvert perches are head and shoulders above all the others. In thickness, quality and strength.
