I bought some 1/2" poly sheet from www.mcmaster.com to help isolate the fuel pump from the floor of the car.

Upon removal of the original fuel tank I realized that there is a slight step up in the trunk pan allowing room for the pump without contacting the body. I installed our ranch brewed isolator anyway and the fuel pump is hardly noticeable over the repro exhaust. This pic shows the fuel line and sender hook ups:
