10-30 weight and a Melling HV.

"Yes it will feed the rocker shafts by just cranking engine, but will take more cranking time to get there than that pressure test port that should show pressure quickly.

buildanother : I cranked the motor over for about 10 sec and saw 25 lbs. of oil pressure on my gauge. Was that enough time??
