all this is great. but what is too much oil flow to a bearing? and what happens? i know when you over grease a roller bearing it gets freeking hot till it melts some grease out and it dissipates. i imagin too much oil in the rods may creat too much heat also (if this is possable?).....
what pressures do you guys stay away from? i think the 10psi for every 1000rpms is old skool and we can get away with less psi per 1000. i think the prostock cars are not wasting horse power on the oil pump making madd pressure to "stay together"

what do you guys think?

i am slapping a 440 together for a truck and it had 3/4 grooves in it. rebuilt. the other i pulled apart had full grooves in it. seems like they are the norm now.
