Thanks all for the thoughts, I was originally asking about the Airgap because i was having a hard time finding an LD340 to use with the Thermoquad. I have found the LD340 I was after and all will be right with the world and my Thermoquad. Mostly I was checking to see if any one had ever done the welding to an Airgap and had a Thermoquad bolted up. Thanks again.
