Here's an example of boost on an import. It's a 3.4 liter motor. Ported head and a fair sized turbo. It runs a T400 transmission and it also has nitrous. Now I was told the launch technique is as follows. Bring it up to the line, get the lights to come on. Get it up in the revs a bit, wait for the first amber and then hit the nitrous so the motor will stall the converter because it doesn't make enough power off the nitrous to flash the converter and the converter keeps the engine below the rpm needed to get the turbo spooled up. Wonder what that does to their "consistent" reaction time. But look at that mph!
