I have had some say that I shift the car pretty fast even though I lift the throttle on every shift. I just got thru installing a street twin clutch in the car and it is a diaphragm style and it works great. At the track the other night I could feel the driveline bite on every shift. I do have a rev limiter [msd] and driveshaft loop and good ujoints so my parts are strong. My best 60ft has been by leaving the line at 3000rpm mabey I should rev it up a bit more? My car is not set up for racing but would like to get a bit closer to an 11.50 et if possible. I have 354 gears with 28" tall tires so I am sure my effective gear ratio is part of my problem and just that it is a heavy car. I am thinking I am going to practice a bit shifting it flat footed as I feel that should improve my performance. I would think not doing so is like a slow shifting automatic transmission? Here is my time slip anyone see anything by looking at the numbers?
