I have driven mine to the track to race before, and yes that was with the hemi running 9s as it sits right now. Did it a few times just to prove a point to some friends. I normally trailer it simply b/c a 3800# car running 9s is hard on parts and it sucks to be almost an hour from home and have to call someone to pick me up if something fails.

The guys that have been to the Pump Gas Drags can tell you how bad the drive from Comp Cams to Memphis Motorsports Park in May is. HOT and humid as crap, stop and go traffic through construction zones, interstate driving, etc. That 33 mile drive knocked out quite a few so-called street cars...myself and several others here did it with no problem.
