I bought a 93 Dakota with a 3.9 Magnum new.
Noisy valvetrain from day one.
Thrashed away noisely for 25 years and 150,000 miles.
Never took a valve cover off……. Never had an issue.

Mine was much quieter on 20/50 than 10/30…….. but still pretty noisy.

Last I knew it was still running fine.

In your situation……. I’d say, turn up the radio and drive it.
