If the tank is filling repeatedly with running temp oil. it's a clear sign its working to some degree, and IMO something is amiss with oil pickup aspect of the oil system, and yes, this car will never see a 1/4 mile.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
