Correct ... I run 11.50 Index .... closest to 11.50 say for instance you run 11.500 that would be the absolute closest you could get then someone runs 11.501 then they would be number 2 . I have been running it for over 10 years and have pretty good success winning two track championships that way . Just to add : I have tried the E Z plate system as well as the Willys adjustable blade throttle stops and found they both killed to much MPH for my liking , I use a modified Moroso stop that bolts to the rear left carb stud it simply limits the throttle movement , on my application my secondaries are barely opening ... turn the stop back to go faster forward to go slower.
