I was happy with the Turbo Action converter that I had in the Duster. It was one of their Pro series designed for street driving. I had a data logger and a driveshaft sensor on that car so I could record the driveshaft speed in comparison to the engine speed. It was interesting to see how the converter dealt with different situations. That converter worked really well for street and freeway cruising and it had roughly 4000 stall when launching. Mine was a 10 inch, sounds like you have the next step up in terms of stall speed.
