i thought so too until I switched my old S/P car back the Valvoline type F non synthetic based fluid, quicker 60 Ft times between .021 to .030 and quicker reaction times bye .02 With no other changes I was changing fluid and adjusting the front band every 25 runs on the Mikes Ultra Glide in the car with his race 9 inch converter
