I have had a couple NOS and sold them from $800-1000 WITH the original filter, without the filter $500-600. I have bought nice used ones at swap meets for $100-200. Found two at the Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, CA for $50 each!
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
