I ran 1/2" studs on my cuda for several years w/ no problems. 3800 lbs on drag radials running mid 9s. Footbraking 1.32 sixty foots.
I upgraded to 5/8" studs when I added nitrous. Now it twists 35 spline axles instead, lol.
