I remember seeing a proposal, appeared to be real, to use 6pack short blocks and manifolds with Max Wedge heads in a Demon to target a SS class. (D I think). DC saw it as a way to get the supply of MW heads replentished.
Hoover and Koffel put a package together that my friend raced.
