I'm researching this stuff myself, I already have a 6AL and Blaster II coil, was going to use the points output from the Holley to drive the MSD box. If I were you since you need to replace everything and already bought the Hyperspark distributor, I'd buy the matching Hyperspark CDI box and coil. You won't have a ballast resistor in line with the 12v feed to the coil anymore.

I agree with that. If you already have MSD stuff then keep it but if you're buying new then I'd go with the Holley Hyperspark ignition box. The MSD boxes cost more because they have extra features such as rev limiter chips but you don't need any of that stuff when you are using the Sniper since it is all built in.
