Yes, it's disgusting. Both parties are supposed to be taking our taxes dollars, spending some AND saving some for future needs, just like we are supposed to do for our personal needs. NOT put a referendum on the ballot to increase sales tax every time a new building is needed, or to raise fees, etc. Anyone who has ever been an actual worker at any level of government knows that there is so much waste and fraud that it's enough to turn you off of the so-called public sector for life.

I mostly agree it's both parties, but at the risk of breaking a rule, one party's platform IS to spend more, so that certainly doesn't help. BOTH parties want to line their own pockets FIRST, with VERY few exceptions. The answer is never to cut costs, it's always to raise revenue.
