That will cause more people to leave the state, those people will move to other states that are doing well, they will then vote for the same type of people who screwed up the first state, that state will be ruined and they will repeat the process. They are like locust, flocking, destroying, moving on.

The last federal tax bill that was passed accelerated this. Previously there was no limit to the deductions residents of high tax states could make on their federal taxes from their local tax payments. The new rules put a maximum of $10k.
