MSD ignitions are nice but if most of your driving is 5500 rpm or less factory dist reworked, a good box and go. As for carb, for mostly street use a 650 AVS Edelbrock will work perfect, have customer 68 RR 440 dynoed at 580 hp, 4sp, 3:55 gears, pulls real nice to 6000 and is good on fuel.
