Bob Mazolini bought that car and had myself and another friend campaign that car in S/G with one of my old motors that wouldn't put it into the 9.80 or lower.
It was weighed on a set of home made 4 wheel scales with my motor and trans and those scales where way off at a chassis builder Bob knew and liked, his scales showed 2150 Lbs. with no driver or fuel in the 5 gallon cell.
I drove it at the Winternationals that year and it weighed it after the first qualifying run ,it weighed 2864 lbs. with me in it wet shock

The best I could get that car to run was 9.98, I was a first round duck runaway whiney

I got to know Bob when he had that 1970 Cuda Pro Stock car in 1971-1973 or so, back when he was still teaching at one of the Fontana high schools, both of us are not young anymore whistling
