I am leaning towards adding inside flanges and dzus fasteners. Removing the outside flange would allow me to move it back an inch or more. Part of the issue here is the front carb sticks out of the hood higher than the rear and the top of the scoop is lightly nose down due to the angle of the hood. This was the only mopar scoop that will work with this head/intake/HVH spacer combo. I figured a 7" cowl would be a little too much.
