If you were paying attention you may have noticed the space left between the manifold and head due to the raised ports of the Victor head. I am thinking of drilling and tapping a few holes in the manifold and bolting the pivot arm directly to the manifold. I figure if the holes are heli-coil'd they should be just fine strength wise. I will also put an end mill to the holes in the pivot arm bracket to slot them for ease of linkage alignment. AM I missing something or on the right track here?
