The Stage V has wider carb spacing and is I think a quarter inch higher, that's why it's a tough go with a factory airgrabber.

As for the stageV being higher than stock, I don't think so (notice I didn't say I KNEW). All I can say is that I have Zero hood interference, yet a buddy with stock intake and Eddy carbs, had to cut some hood bracing and couldn't clear the factory "Chrome Dome".
What about the "Marine" intake, this would allow larger carbs and I understand that bases are available for any factory style air cleaner?
