Ross makes a flat top with a compression height of 1.728that will fit the 7.100 rod for your 440 block with a 3.75 stroke. 595 grams,210 lighter than the piston you are thinking of using. another advantage- when you build the hemi, pull the rods for that motor, and you could use a 4.375 stroke crank and 6.8 rods with the same 1.728 piston in the 440 block. Stock 440 cranks don't live forever, so it is worth considering. You would have a nice torque monster back up motor!
