had stock crank stock rod dimond pistons
old indy torquer 270cc@335cfm
262/265@.630 lift 110ls solid in at 104
lupo comp 9" converter @5000rpms
4:10 gears slicks caltracs
10.70s @ 3200lb
cam at 108 ran 10.30s

less cam and less comp smaller carb should live and slow it down to mid 11s
your choice but if good pistons cost 200 more
and good rods cost 200 more than what you want
spend it.lite is better
the better the heads work also the less other stuff needs to be
high strung.
i am not sure how long the stock rods would of went but it did go a season that way till i blew a ring land out in the fall of that season. i now have JE pistons and k1 rods same everything else. (except block )
