Ok, a few weeks ago I removed the gauge assemble from the dash of my 65 Barracuda to replace some light bulbs. When I put it back in I had no power to anything. After removing and installing it several times it started to work. Today I removed it to replace the voltage limiter and now I have no power again. The red wire has voltage and the black wire shows voltage so the amp gauge is good. The assemble is grounded to the dash by the 4 screws that hold it in place.
There are only the black and red wires to the amp gauge and the plug that plugs into the gauge assemble and the plug to the ignition switch.
Everything is wired and the plugs are in place. The unit is grounded so what else do I check? I have no power to start the car or headlights or power at all.

I'm wondering if your voltage limiter is good...
you replaced it then you dont have power
