Tom I thought we had the major open fixed. Should I just come down there & take it off your hands so you can be done w it. I hate to have this be a Christmas distraction for you having family and all and I am certainly willing to go out of my way and help a fellow Moparter out. I hear it's beautiful country down there . What Andrewh said the black wire from the ammeter to the firewall bulkhead out to the alt it splits before it hits the bulkhead & T's to the fuse box the headlights and the ign sw so there's a splice in the harness right behind the dash instrument cluster. Might pull the dash again! (you could prob do it blindfolded w all the practice you've had) & unwrap/check that splice
