An update on the junkyard truck; with the help of quickd100 completed the 3" exhaust and welded a bung in for the LM-1 test equipment. Installed the rust free bed and installed the rear step bumper. Was a bear to start with the Demon 850 (no choke) so I ditched that and bought an 800 Edelbrock AVS and tuned it with the aid of quickd100's LM-1 meter and software. It starts and runs a lot better with the new carb. Took it to an alignment shop where they aligned the front end; thanks to 1E2C selling me some new upper A arms with ball joints. It goes down the road as straight as an arrow, except when you get a little crazy with the throttle. I have been stopped and people ask me what the H*** do you have in that thing? So I have enjoying it just driving it as-is for a while as it turns a few eyes at the stoplights. An old man in a beet up truck LOL
