I already removed/installed the UCA bushings using hand tools made for that purpose (you can get them at Mancini). I will use them to install the LCA bushings, too. Getting the old ones out is the problem.




The inner sleeve of the LCA bushing is still on the pivot shaft. Look, you'll see it there. To remove it, you need to make several thin slits around the cicrcumfrence of the the sleeve. I did this with a dremel tool and a small slitting wheel. I think used a cold chisel to open these slits up a bit. This releases the press fit stress and the sleeve then just falls off the shaft.

There is no way to put the LCA bushing on without having a hydraulic prsss available. It takes a fair amount of force to do the job. The Moparts article cited above is a great help. You'll need a few arbors to do the job correctly.
